Ok, let's do this! Hi, hello.. it's time for a re-introduction. Dani here, modern day Antique Dealer and founder of Dantique, formally Mid-Century Modernistic (but we will get onto that point a little later). For now, I just wanted to hop on and kick things off and my gosh, has it been a while drafting something in this sort of forum but if the last four years has taught me anything, it's about getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, being vulnerable and open and seizing the opportunity when creativity arises.

So here I am, doing exactly that, four whole years on from when this little creative desire started to burn and take shape so let's bring some photo's back from the archive. It was the autumn of 2020 and we had spent the last 7 months in doors/shopping online treasure troves like eBay, Vinterior, Facebook Marketplace and so on and this was our first taste of freedom post the pandemic restrictions, little did we know we were destined to go straight back in doors for a while longer...

Now for the name change, it was about time wasn't it, I mean come on, Mid-Century Modernistic, what a mouthful! But hey! we had some good times, branding 101; name after purpose and Mid-Century furniture was how we started so there we are. Now as the business and brand starts to peak adolescence, it was time for a new look. something sophisticated but cool, simple but indifferent and obvious something that started with a D insert Kris Jenner handclap and after months of research, testing, designing and re-designing, we arrived on Dantique; a muted mellow yellow to symbolise the origins of MCM with a sophisticated and timeless deep charcoal to set the tone and colour reference for our entire identity. I hope you like it!

Ok, thank you bye 👋
