A wonderfully playful piece of modernist barware, this vintage 'Buddy' corkscrew was designed by Alan Wisniewski for Umbra. Made from cast metal with a polished chrome finish, the sculptural human form features outstretched arms that provide leverage when opening a bottle, while the sturdy base allows Buddy to stand upright when not in use.
 
First introduced as part of Umbra's Buddy collection, the design combines functionality with a distinctive sculptural quality, making it as much a decorative object as it is a practical bar accessory. The design was patented by Umbra in 2013.
