Antique Handcrafted Irregular Japanese Traditional Art Bowl. Hand-painted in the manner of Hamada Shoji of the early part of the 20th century. This piece is of exceptional quality, unique in its appearance and aesthetic, and would have been used in traditional tea ceremonies to whisk matcha. The base is a natural tone with a slight iridescent appearance to the ribbed texture, whilst the hand-painted fancy is a deep and rich natural brown hue complementing the natural undertones of the piece.
